Boats must conform to ACBS standards which are all boats made of all materials before 1993, and contemporary wooden boats.

Absolutely stunning, beautifully restored 1969 Chris Craft Commander 31. Listed 7/18/24
Rebuilt 327Q engines with roughly 1100 hrs each. Four new 24 AGM batteries, 8 life jackets, 6 fenders, a dozen lines, hundreds of pieces of original hardware, fasteners, and decades of worth of records and original owners materials.
A freshwater boat originally from Michigan, transported to Lake Champlain last September. The flybridge was removed for shipping. All cables and electrical are still in place for a new owner to decide to reattach or not.
Hull is rock solid in excellent shape with recent paint; decks and trim in fantastic condition and sparkling. Beautiful sounding engines, new upholstery, head, and more.
A wonderful cruising example of a desirable era of Chris Craft boat building.

Description: We purchased her from her original owner in 2014 and have done a considerable amount of work refurbishing her. (She still has some minor work to be done). She has been a fun and rewarding project. She has captured a lot of attention and we have enjoyed many summers on Lake Champlain on her. She is currently for sale as I have 3 other boats to take care of.

1959 Penn Yan 17' Runabout, Baltic/Magellan model Relisted 10/4/23
Description: Lapstrake wood hull. Boat is in very good working condition and has new topside paint and varnish. All floors and boards are tight. No soft spots anywhere on the vessel. Steering linkages, cables, and pulleys work well. Boat does not leak and is ready for the water. 1995 25 HP Mercury twin cylinder two stroke runs great and has new battery, new fuel lines, new fuel tank, and new control cables. Trailer is in good working condition and has new wiring, lights, bearings, and tires and tows nicely. This is an excellent package for any woody enthusiast who doesn't want to break the bank.

1946 Old Town 16 'wood and canvas canoe Listed 12/10/22
Description: Mahogany hull, interior needs a new coat of varnish, in good condition. The exterior will need more work with new canvas. It is actually in fairly good condition for its age. It has been inside since we owned it.
Price: I have not given that much thought. I am most concerned that it will go to a person familiar with restoration who will give it the attention it deserves.

1967 Century Resorter engine and parts - Hull # HL345 Listed 11/17/22
General Package Description: My name is Christopher from Williamstown, Vermont and my father and I recently undertook the project of redoing my grandfathers Century that had been under a tarp for years, after some professional examination we determined that it would be too costly to repair. We are now looking to sell a gray marine 327 engine that was completely rebuilt by Peter Pizzagalie (Burlington, 2021) using many of the original parts, a water pump, a transmission and the remainder of the miscellaneous Century pieces and parts (windshield, steering column, prop, emblems, horn, lifting poles, etc). General Package Description: Dad’s Project – A 16’ Yellowjacket Runabout.
The history of the Yellowjackets, designed by Richard Cole, consists of 5 layers of cold molded mahogany plywood. More details about Yellowjackets and this boat can be found in the Summer 2007 ACBS Rudder Volume 17 Number 1 edition. My Dad bought the unfinished hull in 1956. He installed the transom and spray rails and then because our home was destroyed by a tornado the boat sat in the garage of his new home until the fall of 1962 when I became the owner. I contacted Brian Lawson, Classic Boat Works, who finished building the boat which was launched in the Hudson River near Albany in 2007, 52 years after the project was started. In 2010 “Dad’s Project” won “Best in Class” for Outboards at the Lake Champlain ACBS show. Since then the boat has seen occasional use and it is time for me to sell.

General Package Description:"Wildfire". I believe this rare boat was originally built on Lake George in 1957 and I am the third owner. I purchased it three years ago after it had been crashed into a dock and the previous owner wanted nothing more to do with it. The boat had been painted with several layers of house paint, (yes, house paint!) and the seat upholstery tops had been varnished over. The outboard motor cowl was damaged and the midsection was broken in half. The splash planes were badly damaged as was all the rub rail. There was some wood rot on the transom and splash planes. Over a period of two years, I completely stripped the boat down to bare wood, repaired, resealed, painted, stained and varnished it. The outboard motor was repaired/rebuilt by Mike Proulx. The hull has 7 coats of fire red petit paint, the (laid fiberglass) bottom 3 coats of ablative. Over 12 coats of varnish topsides. The boats interior was repainted with white deck paint. The seat upholstery was custom replaced and all the rub rail trim was straightened and polished. New windshield moulding, decals, bow pole and pendants were added from Classic Boat Connection. All the wiring was replaced or repaired. I made a custom floor for the boat and added the correct Chris Craft pyramid vinyl. Special custom silver leaf decals were added. The steering wheel, windshield, and all the chrome fittings are original except for the current step plates ( I have the originals). I have photos of the entire restoration done by myself. The boat weighs around 500 pounds including the motor and is capable of around 30 mph on Lake Champlain with the current motor, a 25hp Yamaha 4 stroke. The boat is constructed of solid Mahogany in the framing and mahogany faced plywood on the topsides. It is around 13.5 feet long, has a 6 foot beam and weighs (boat only) about 300 lbs. The boat is registered and has a clean title. Comes with a vintage TeeNee trailer, clean reg and title and trailer and lights work, but trailer has not been restored. Comes with custom canvas cover, fenders, dock lines, extra parts. A perfect boat for small/medium Adirondack lakes and ponds. Turns heads everywhere it goes and gets lots of waves and smiles. Selling to finance another Chris Craft restoration. “Wildire” won Best Outboard and Best Amateur Boat Restoration at the 2023 Burlington Boat Show.

In the water every year for the last 40 with the same devoted owners who can no longer care for it. Never missed a season but now needs a new home.
